I am an initiated and ordained Minister of Shamanic belief and practices. Shamanism is an orientation to life that recognizes that existence is about constant change and flux. We are defined as part of Nature tuned to its cycles of death and rebirth. A shamanic perspective accepts that there is much more to existence than what meets the eye or can be explained by rational thought. My practice orientation embraces this body-mind-spirit concept.
A Shamanic approach to healing arts does not artificially compartmentalize the different aspects of who we are as is the way of modern-day medical traditions. As a member of a conventional medical profession who could not find answers to her own health challenges using standard medical models, I know this way of approaching health care often falls short of finding cause and solution to a person’s dis-ease states.
I am a western educated physician. My degrees are oriented to human and biological sciences. I love that this is so. It gives me a practical base of orientation to what I do to assist you with what you need to find your own inner balance. Hard science knowledge gives me a wonderful left brain sense of what my right brain intuits about your unique complexity .
